About Us
Tibbetts-Fischer Funeral Home, originally Tibbetts Bros. Funeral Home, began in Belleville, Kansas in March of 1947 by Jim and Dean Tibbetts. They purchased the Lahodny Funeral Home located on 18th street and eventually moved to its present location in the former R.M. Armstrong residence. In 1963, Kenneth Fischer, a Republic, Kansas native joined Tibbetts as funeral director, manager, and eventually president of Tibbetts Brothers Inc. until his retirement in 2008. Randy Paugh began his employment in 1989 and currently serves as managing funeral director. For more than sixty years, Tibbetts funeral home has served the families of North Central Kansas and South Central Nebraska with comforting and caring funeral service. Their mission has always been to meet and exceed the expectations of each family they are privileged to serve.
