Claude McConniel

Claude Russell McConniel, age 70 of Belleville, Kansas, was born January 8, 1940 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Claude Dell and Marie (Halbritter) McConniel. He passed from this life Wednesday, April 7, 2010. Claude graduated from Belleville High School in 1958. He attended and graduated from Kansas State University and attended law school in Houston , Texas . He was a self employed accountant for 40 years in Houston . Claude was united in marriage to Darlene Krob and is survived by their three children: Nancy Merck and her daughter Sarah of Houston, Claude R. McConniel, Jr. of Luray , Virginia , and Jason McConniel of Houston . He will be forever remembered by his three sisters: Nova Vanous, Dallas , Texas , Janice Slaivk and husband Ed and Mary McConniel of Belleville , Kansas ; several nieces and nephews; many friends including his life long friend Francis Esslinger. Claude's wishes were to have cremation services. A family inurnment service will be held Memorial Day at St. Katherine Cemetery rural Belleville , Kansas . Family suggest memorials be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital .
