David G. Lahodny

David G. Lahodny, 73, of Concordia, Kansas, passed away on January 20th, 2026, at Sunset Nursing Home in Concordia from cancer.

David was born on September 3rd, 1952, in Belleville, Kansas, to Davey and Lois Lahodny. David was the eldest of six children including Gloria, Carol, Bill, Bryan and Danny.

After graduating from Belleville High School, David attended Cloud County Community College where he enjoyed singing in the choir. He also attended Beloit Vocational Tech. In 1975 David enlisted in the US Marine Corp where he served for six years and was stationed at Camp Pendleton, California, later he was stationed at Okinawa, Japan. While stationed in California, David met and married Jacquiline Ann where they resided in San Luis Obispo until 2019. After Jackie’s passing in late August of 2019, David moved back to Kansas residing in Concordia.

David is survived by his mother Lois Lahodny of Belleville, KS, sisters Gloria (Dave) Walthers of Cuba, KS, Carol (Mike) Ballard of North Richland Hills, TX, brothers Bill (Denise) Lahodny of Concordia, KS, Bryan (Casi) Lahodny of Montgomery, TX, and Danny Lahodny of Belleville, KS.

David is preceded in death by his dad Davey Lahodny on April 11th, 2012, and his wife Jacquiline Lahodny on August 26, 2019.

Graveside service at Kopsa National Bohemian Cemetery, rural Cuba, KS, will be held at a later date.
