, as a corporal. After serving in the armed forces, Delmar returned to work on the family farm & continued there for his entire life. Delmar married Gladys Pohlmann on Sunday, April 10, 1955. To this union 3 children were born: Stanley Ross, Crystal Ann, and Bradley Dean. He especially enjoyed his children & grandchildren. They were a highlight of his life. Delmar loved farming & taking care of God's land. In 2001, Delmar & Gladys made a 9-day mission trip with Partners in

to
Guyana

South America
. He was an active life-long member of
St. Paul
Lutheran
Church
. Delmar is survived by his wife, Gladys; daughter Crystal Ann & husband Brad Krenke; their children Jessica & husband Andrew Lara (Decatur, TX) & Jared Krenke (Eustis, NE); son Bradley Dean & wife Paula of Belleville, KS, & their daughters Laken, Saren, & Bryn; brothers Dean (married to Deanna Hobelmann) of Republic, KS, and Wayne (married to Cathy Hobelmann) of Kansas City, KS; brother-in-laws Wilmer (married to Rita Ritterling) of Byron, NE, & Orville (married to Lois Pohlmann) of Deshler, NE. Nieces, nephews, relatives, & friends are also included. He is preceded in death by his son Stanley Ross, brother Duane, sister Lois Ritterling, parents Harold & Frieda Hobelmann. Funeral services were held August 2, 2010, at
St.
Paul
Lutheran
Church
with Pastors Daryl Nelson & Connie Raess officiating. Tibbetts Fischer Funeral Home of Belleville, KS, was in charge of these arrangements. Memorials will be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church & Partners in
