Dorlene Hebert

Dorlene Lovenna Hebert, age 79, was born June 30, 1930 near Belleville , Kansas . She passed from this life Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at the Republic County Hospital in Belleville . She was married to Tony Hebert on March 31, 1970 while living in Gretna , Louisiana . They lived there until moving to Cuba , Kansas in 1981. Tony died in February 1982. For a few years, Dorlene lived with a friend in Phoenix , Arizona until she returned to the Cuba community. In recent years she made her home in Belleville . She will be forever remembered as one who cared for her family and every stray dog or cat that needed a home. Dorlene was preceded in death by her mother Velma Bedwell Cowart; husband Tony; step children Ernest Hebert and Gloria Black, and her grandson Christopher Hebert in 2000. She is survived by her children Tony Hebert, Jr., and Debra Knoll; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a special granddaughter. Graveside services and interment were held Saturday, May 8, 2010 at the Belleville City Cemetery , Belleville , Kansas with the Reverend Helen Rose Moore officiating. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
