Peggy Rose

Peggy O. (Gilliam) Rose went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at the age of 76 years and 6 days.

Peggy was born on June 6, 1943, to Robert and Edna Gilliam. She met the love of her life Bobby Gene Rose, and they were married on December 31, 1959. They spent 56 wonderful years together until his passing in 2016.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bobby, and five brothers. She is survived by her brother Leroy Gilliam of Roanoke Rapids, NC, her sister Betty High also of Roanoke Rapids, NC, her daughters Della Leigh Rose of Lake Gaston, NC, and Charlene Rose Reid of Courtland, KS. She is also survived by five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Direct cremation was chosen. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2019, at 2:00 p.m., at the Living Waters Church in Courtland, Kansas. Tibbetts-Fischer Funeral Home assisted the Rose family with these arrangements.
