David Sterba

David Lee Sterba was born on May 27, 1970, to Marvin E. & Marie V. (Kalal) Sterba. He graduated from Belleville High School in 1988, and worked as a general laborer and painter. David enjoyed being outdoors, especially spending time fishing, and spending time with his family.

David passed away on March 4, 2021, at the age of 50 years, 9 months and 8 days.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and sister Mary Ann Cossaart. David is survived by his daughter, Amber Fournier and her husband Seth of Westmoreland, Kansas, and their children Owen and Elijah, sister Sharon Popelka of Clyde, and his nieces and nephews.

Graveside Memorial Services will be Saturday, March 27, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., at Tabor Cemetery, rural Munden, with Pastor Michael Ostermann officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to assist with funeral expenses, and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Donations can also be made online, on David’s obituary page.
