Prior to his retirement on November 2012, he worked for Pawnee Mental Health Services, in Concordia, KS as a van driver. Lindy is preceded in death by his parents, all four of his siblings, brother Ercel, and sisters Emmeline, Eleanor, and Anona (Toni) Kyle. Until health issues restricted his driving, he made frequent visits to his sister’s and brother-in-law’s home in Salina, KS. For decades Lindy participated in family holiday dinners at his niece’s, Marcia (Kyle) Rinehart. Marcia and her family hosted many beautiful holiday dinners in Leawood, Kansas.
