Pamela “Pam” Jo Ferron was born on June 20, 1950, in Concordia, Kansas, the only child of Ralph T. & Evon E. (Couture) Ferron.
The family relocated to Independence, Missouri, where Pam graduated from Truman High School, class of 1968. Following high school, Pam graduated from Metropolitan Junior College, and then she attended Park University, graduating Cum Laude with her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in 1987.
Pam worked for Ruskin Inc, in Kansas City, Missouri, as the manager of the accounting department. She later worked for Butler in Kansas City.
Following her retirement, Pam relocated to Belleville, where she volunteered at the Republic County Food Bank. She was an active member of St. Edward Catholic Church, volunteering to help at the Rectory. She also enjoyed her daily lunches with her friends at the Bel-Villa.
Pam is preceded in death by her parents, her uncles Joe Couture and Leonard Couture, and her aunt, Edith Couture. Pam is also recently preceded in death by her beloved West Highland White Terrier, Mandy Mae Ferron.
She is survived by her aunt Doreen Couture of Abilene, many cousins and extended family, and many, many friends.
Pamela will lie in state at Tibbetts-Fischer Funeral Home on Monday, January 25th, with public viewing from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Graveside funeral services will be held at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Clyde, on Tuesday, January 26th, 2021, at 2:00 pm, with Fr. Henry Baxa officiating.
Memorials are requested to the Guiding Eyes of the Blind, the American Humane Society or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
