Todd Allen Frye was born February 22, 1957 to Verne and Betty (Swaney) Frye in Wichita, Kansas. Todd attended school in Belleville and graduated from Belleville High school in 1976.  It was while he was attending high school that he met his high school sweetheart, Teresa Cooper. They were united in marriage February 25, 1978.

After they were united in marriage, they relocated to Tonganoxie, KS. Todd worked at Himpel Lumber for twenty years, throughout his time in Tonganoxie. It was there that Todd & Teresa’s daughter, Terri, and son, Trent, were both born. Todd spent years building and driving racecars.  Over the years, he also built many street rods and attended numerous car shows.  Todd and his family returned to Belleville in 2005 when they opened Belleville Farm & Home. They ran this business until 2014. He was also a devoted Mason in the local Belleville lodge.  He worked for Heartland Coca Cola Bottling Company for the remainder of his life. Todd enjoyed working at the family farm and spending time with his family. He loved being a hardworking father and grandfather. People will remember him for his generosity and kindness. He will always be remembered as a good man above all by many.

Todd was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma in July 2020 and it was from this ailment that he passed from this life at Cloud County Health Center on November 28, 2020 at the age of 63. He will forever be remembered by his son Trent Frye and Sarah Zerger of Abilene, KS; daughter, Terri Frye and Dakota Breuer of Belleville, KS; grandson, Layne Frye of Belleville, KS; father and mother in-law Robert & Jeraldean Cooper of Tonganoxie, KS; brother and sister in-law Bob & Joy Cooper of Tonganoxie, KS and many friends. Cremation was chosen and there will be no visitation.

Todd was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa, his parents, Verne and Betty and brother, Terry.
